Honoring Howard University and the African Studies Association

Last night, I had the pleasure of speaking at Howard University on behalf of International Nurses for Africa (INA) and Naomi Achu in celebration of the 59th Annual meeting of the African Studies Association (ASA) and Howard’s 150th anniversary.

The event kicked off the ASA’s yearly celebration of Africa and award ceremony. During the reception, Afropop singer/songwriter, Naomi Achu, rocked the crowd with an electrifying performance.
